The Specimen boards- South West Sydney Photographer

Wednesday, February 1, 2012
I consider myself a bit of a nature nut; particularly animals. I've always loved animals. As a kid I'd raise tadpoles and rescue skinks from the cat. I'd play with green tree frogs and try rehabilitating anything that came our way on the farm. I considered a career within an animal based field. I did work experience at a country vet and came to Sydney to have experience at Featherdale Wildlife Park. It didn’t take long to decide an animal based career was not for me. Alas my love for animals and all creatures great and small continued in other ways. I've sponsored temple cats in Phuket for 6 years, we went and met the amazing Gill and John from Soi Dog (graphic content) when it only had a handful of staff. It's grown so much since then. I've also been a vegetarian for almost 10 years now. The photos were taken at the Australian Museum in Sydney. I do feel for all the specimens! I find biodiversity fascinating and these boards make me think of Charles Darwin.
